'30SU = MO'

Extraordinarily a simple piece of 2 dimensional flat toneless paper, when folded can form a 3 dimensional origami form with many different facets that are light filled or cast in shadow.  30SU=MO is made from 30 Sonobe folded units, when joined together they form a modular origami called an icosahedron. The units are joined together in groups of 5 that form a star effect that is visible from every direction it is turned.
