Tight creasing and precision folding of flat paper can form incredible three-dimensional shapes known as origami.  This modular origami; was formed from multiple papers and assembled into a single unit.  It is called a truncated tetrahedron. The surface has been acrylic painted to create the 3D depth.  This piece was donated to the SAQA 2020 Benefit Auction.
